Ortus Cleans is a local, family-run cleaning company covering Hull and East Yorkshire. Behind it is Tegan, who leads our cleaning day to day, and a simple belief: a clean done properly makes a real difference to people’s homes and businesses.
Meet Tegan
Before Ortus Cleans, Tegan spent years as a decontamination technician, carrying out high-level cleaning in some of the most demanding environments there are: pharmaceutical facilities, cleanrooms and laboratories. In those settings the standard has to be exact. Every surface accounted for, nothing left to chance.
She’s also spent time cleaning in care homes, working calmly and respectfully around elderly residents. It taught her that cleaning isn’t just about how a place looks. It’s about care, trust, and being someone people are genuinely happy to have in their space.
Ortus Cleans was built to bring that same professional standard and real care into everyday homes and businesses.
Our Growth
Established at the end of 2025, we’re growing at a steady pace. One that lets us give proper, individual attention to every client, rather than treating anyone like just another job on a list. Libby has since joined the team, and we’re building something we’re proud of: reliable, local and genuinely thorough.
